From the IECB to Princeton with a doctoral thesis prize in her bag

On March 28^th, Phong Lan Thao Tran was awarded the PhD thesis prize Monique Garnier-Semancik by the doctoral school in life and health sciences of the University of Bordeaux. After 3 years spent in the team of Jean-Louis Mergny, working on an unusual DNA  structure, she will leave the IECB in summer 2012 for a post-doctoral experience at Princeton University.
