An Indian delegation at the IECB

On November the 25^th, the IECB welcomed an Indian delegation from the state of Karnataka.

Indian researchers, entrepreneurs and institutionals from both “aerospace” and “biotechnology” fields have settled in Aquitaine region during two days. They visited some companies and laboratories discovering the regional excellence know-how.

They heard a presentation of the Institute and its high level research at the chemistry-biology interface. They then had the opportunity to discover the technical expertises and research infrastructures of Fluofarma, which is a company hosted at the IECB and specialized in High Content Screening, a powerful drug discovery method that combines the highest level of information from cell biology experiments with industrial throughput and standards.

Karnataka is a state in South West India. The capital and largest city is Bangalore, the center of the “new Indian economy” based on the development of new technologies.
